Fashion Tip of the Week .29

So i wasnt planning on putting one up this week because well, ive been busy with midterms and shtick. But since this is really a present for Aly (happy bday girl!) cuz i know she just loves my tips. So a lot is going on in the fashion world this week. Olympus Fashion Week is going on and there is just tons and tons to sort through! I'll update y'all later on that once things settle down for me. So since its a crossover right now for winter/spring collections, why dont I just tell you what you should look out for Spring

Fashion Tip of the Week #29: Here are the trends right now for spring.

_Bold prints - So, I must admit to amber, yes you were right bold prints like flowers are in. But with a little bit of lightness and more flow prints to it. Designers for spring went for the bold patterns and states to evoke a feeling. Ex: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

_The innocents - This category includes eyelets, lace, openwork embroidery, and white dresses. If you have those peasant skirts waiting in the closets, take them out and alter it and make a cute dress out of it! Ex: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

_The Kimono - So Asian fashions are back and movies like Memoirs and 2046 inspired many designers to go asian on this one. Ex: 1, 2

_The New Sexy - Cocktail dresses, slits and bandage dresses seem to make a new statement. Ex: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

_The Reinvented Pantsuit - This doesnt mean you go all power-bitch on everyone. Soft lines create femininity and sexyness. Ex: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

_Shirtdressing - Double breasted shirts/jackets, boyfriend shirt-steelers are finding reason to wear their shirts outside. Ex: 1, 2, 3 (OO btw, for the casual look, girls take a t-shirt [long in length], take a thick belt and wrap it around your waist [not thighs] and a denim mini and you are set)

So I hoped this helped out. You have an idea of what you might wanna look at wearing.

Check back next week for the next fashion tip! Always dress to look your best (Even if it's a pair of sweats and a tee)!
