Fashion Tip of the Week .25

EDITORS NOTE: So as the year is coming to an end, I reflect upon the great times that Ive experienced with this fashion tip blog. Many of my breakout tips were even suprising to myself. And for me, that is more than I could ever expect from myself. Such hard-labor came from these threads with care and love for the body of a woman (in every shape and size despite my critics). But in true-ness ive come out of this year growing stronger and stronger by the continual support all of you have given me. It is my hope that I am able to continue this blog and reach a larger market. So thank you.

Fashion Tip of the Week #25: So I thought I would go out with a bang and create a new tip for you all but I thought, psst, make them wait a lil. Rather, I was inspired to bring back some of my biggest tips that has jump-started my fame among you all.

Quotes from Andy's Fashion Tip of the Week:

"if you are in a bind and u just dont wanna use that same belt and the other one is completely different from the color of the outfit. Go ahead and use that different color belt (neutral colors work best)...pair up some shoes/sandals that is the same color as the other accessories."

"NO: DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT WEARING WHITE PANTS...THOSE ARE A NO NO.. IF U WANNA LOOK FAT THEN WEAR THEM..."

"NEVER under any cicumstance, WEAR THE SAME BRAND NAME CLOTHING! Ahhh that is soooo bad. Mix it up."

"Skorts! NO, don’t even think about it! Wedges, uh, more like fashion dont! Better to keep the door open then anything!"

"A good pair of heels (pointed but not too pointed toes) – practically perfect for any outfit! Open-toed shoes with an angular-round-front shoe – good for the summer and other outfits!"

"Pants: Pinstripes… H-O-T-T!"

"One of my biggest pet peeves that has recently ive been seeing alot is the layering of polos over polos."

"Accessories: Bangles are still in so but out those metal bangles. Then knitted scarves"

"The perfect time to go shopping is at the end of the season clearance...For spring its Late May/Early June. For summer [even tho most retailers dont have a summer-line..usually leftovers from spring] its end of august/beg. september. For Fall, [back to school] its end of november to early december. For Winter its Mid-March through early april."

"Gauchos- NO NO NO, horrible idea to wear out."

"1_ Pick tops that clinch to the arch of your sides."

"tapered pants, they can make you seem fatter than you really are ladies!"

**REFER TO MY RULES FOR LAYERING... Women [#16] - Men [#19]**

"admiring Carolina Herrera's work for the spring 2006 collection."

"NEVER, absolutely, NEVER wear boots with an skirt that goes past your mid-calf!"

"Remember to pick slimming clothes vs. tight clothes. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE GIRLS!"

**My shoe entry**

AND OF COURSE... THIS CLASSIC QUOTE...

"And remember girls: Check back next week for the next fashion tip! Always dress to look your best (Even if it's a pair of sweats and a tee)!"

So I hoped this helped... and it seriously has been sucha great year. Look for more to come in the NEW YEAR!

Fashion Tip of the Week .24

IM BACK! Yes sir-ree I am back! It has been sucha strain not being able to do this for you all. Only cuz perhaps, I have been dressing slightly sloppy myself (admittedly). But no worries, this person has not gone dry and there is always a fashion mistake to be pointed out is what I say! So lets get this started! BTW, if you havent commented on my profile pic, dont forget to do that one too. I got all dressed up for this occasion!

FASHION TIP OF THE WEEK #24: So one of my huge pet peeves is poor coordination with accessories. Alot of girls dont seem to get the idea that some of the accessories that was once IN is soooooo GONE. It is time to put those accessories back in the vault. So this entry is compeletely dedicated to matching the right accessory that casual outing.

So these are some accessories that I found to be the ESSENTIAL add on to your casual wardrobe:

There is nothing like bringing back the classics to your casual outing wear. These include: Over-sized bags and over-sized [fashion] sunglasses; Throw away those horrible "sparkely belts" and replace them with the very fashionable chains. Or use those chains and pearls with a favorite charmeuse top. Hairbands are coming back with a full force... think luxe-rious hairbands. Or how bout those naked arms?!? --cuffs are coming back in a big way... Cold? --How bout a traditional burberry scarf?

Mix and match is the best way to go...If anything seems questionable, then you probably shouldnt put those two together. Test the waters...

So my Nicole-Richie-Not is now going to be called Fashion-Fades

fashion-fades is Silver and Gold metallic anything... Goodbye, no more of that. Fur-trimmed boots... Its gone. Only meant for jackets to make them look cute. Uggs are okay ONLY provided that you wear it if u are looking shitty. No sense in trying make those a fashion statement. Comfort is the only reason you should have them. PERIOD. Double layering of the polos are gone. Gauchos are seriously out! Girls, they have overwelcomed their stay.

Paris Hilton-Hots is changing to Fashion-Rings

fashion-rings to look out for are belts outside your shirt buckled to show off that waist line. Rustic wear... this is seriously underrated. Better come in with those rustic colours. Broches used a jewlery... Turn that broach into a bracelet or a necklace...Monotone platforms are ok. I dont completely hate them. So they are a fashion-ok.

And remember girls: Check back next week for the next fashion tip! Always dress to look your best (Even if it's a pair of sweats and a tee)!
