Fashion Tip of the Week .17

So this week is perfect because it collides with New York Fashion Week. And this week I want to present to all of you fashion forward styles. With short tips so y'all dont have to do all that reading girls!

FASHION TIP OF THE WEEK #17:

I recently found myself admiring Carolina Herrera's work for the spring 2006 collection. You all should soon find a version of these photos that I found promising in your favorite stores...

1 - the reinvention of white shirts with drawstrings - hot commodity; 2 - again with the drawstrings in the shirt makes well with the vest. 3 - This outfit exemplifies chic. The embroidered skirt paired with a simple top with a short sleeved jacket. 4 - Preppy is making a big come back with vests and this outfit shows the "ok"-ness to wear a knit-vest with a low scoop-neck. Pair it with a nice A-line skirt. 5 - Well I simply love this outfit because it utilizes lightweight materials. But what I think will most help you out is the embroidered top that she has over.

So for a summary of this collection key staple items to have BEFORE the season hits:

1_ Fitted Scoop-neck vests

2_ Embroidered skirts

3_ Embroidered jackets (NOT TO BE WORN with the skirts!) -Becomes overkill on the embroidered look.

4_ Thin-material layered items whether that be jewelery or jackets paired with a slik/charmeuse top.

5_ A-Line skirts (*Only for those who need a reduction-in-weight-look in the thigh and hip area. OTHERWISE, tailored skirts fitted towards your curves

6_ Im sorry to say this but HEELS HEELS HEELS! Open-toed stiletto heels. Girls, start training your feet for that!

Another designer that I want you girls to look at for IDEAS of LIKE*-outfits (* = meaning stuff that you can find at Forever 21 or where that looks someone like it) is Zac Posen. He just created a more causal-head-to-the-stores line that is ready-to-wear. Here is his Spring 2006 collection:

1 - Boy-cut denim. You see how it is a little bit more flared and baggy at the bottom? Well that is the new trend on how and what you girls will be wearing soon. I know I have said tailored pants but the boy-cut tailored is fitted every where BUT the leg opening. Plus, the shirt is cute too.

So key staple item in this collection:

1_ Boy-cut baggy-leg opening denim pants. Key element: TO BE WORN WITH HEELS!

So I hope the photos help. Some of you may like it, some of you wont but remember, dont be a fashion follower. Wear the key things that will help you become a trend setter! I know I've been a fighter for heels (esp. stilettos) but in the long run, you will thank me. Next time, I will introduce some fashion looks that will help you out for the fall.

Fashion Tip of the Week .16

So first and foremost...I wanna thank everyone who has continually read my fashion tips of the week...cuz that is just so steller that everyone continues to support me and takes my tips into consideration! So far...the count is over 1000 views! THANKS! So its not my fault that y'all didnt help me all the way to 1000. My suprise was that I would get live photos of possible outfits. But o well. Just make sure you check out the coming tips for a suprise.

So this week, is all about layering. How to properly do it.

FASHION TIP OF THE WEEK #16: Layering... Most girls might not know that they arent properly layering their camisoles with their sweaters or v-necks or whatever that it may be. So here I am to teach how to properly layer.

If you are going to wear a long sleeve deep v-neck then it is recommended that you wear a seamless-cami to put under it. BUT, make sure that the colors ARE NOT THE SAME!

My rules:

# 1- DONT WEAR THE SAME COLORS WHEN LAYERING! Betcha alot of y'all didnt know that.

#2- When layering...it is STRONGLY recommended that you layer thin clothing. Because bulkiness will only add onto the weight.

#3- Wear clothing that is FITTED to your body because it will slim down the appearance of layered materials.

#4- Contrasting colors are important.

#5- Layering is only meant for tops...NOT BOTTOMS!

#6- Never layer the same type of shirt (but there are exceptions: white-beater like tanks/a-tanks.... the other one is when you layer shirts...if one is more fitted and longer than the other, then its welcomed.)

#7- the longer shirt SHOULD ALWAYS be bottom layer than the top one.

#8- The whole point of layering is to show off different pieces so make sure that the under layer is showing in a significant manner.

#9- Popped collar polos are for those who have small necks, not stubby ones. So dont try to layer vests with popped collars.

#10- Finally, layering is important to looking your best in any situation whether that be casual or a more formal occasion!

So as soon as i can. i will get some photos of correct layering. Gluck. And if y'all any questions about whether an outfit might seem questionable for you.. take a picture of it together and post it. And we will get it squared away!

Fashion Tip of the Week .15

So yes yes! i am back! and partially regenerated with new tips for this week! But first let me thank you all for being such patient people and given me a reason to continue my tips and hushed those critics that trash my fashion tip of the week! So a big thanks to all of you!

FASHION TIP OF THE WEEK #15: So this tip of the week is a rehash of tailored clothing because I really dont think society gets the whole idea of that. I mentioned it a little bit before but time to go into depth about it. Another thing I want to discuss is tapered pants.

So tailored clothing is super super important to making the clothes fit the body and important for you to sport the clothes like how they are meant to sport them!

Here are some key things you need to know:
1_ Pick tops that clinch to the arch of your sides.
2_ If you got perky friends then you should wear what I like to call the faux "x" cut.
3_ If you happen to be big, then you should wear things that clinch at side where you bust ends (when supported by a bra). Thereby releasing the "rolls" and letting the bottom part of the shirt flow out and protecting you from showing rolls of any kind
4_ Find places that can create curves and find places to eliminate too much of a curve. Hence, the tailoring.
5_ Dont wear low-rise if you know you dont have a butt... that wont save you.
6_ Waist jeans will help support those who need lifts in the rear. Go 70s style.
7_ Have jeans hemmed if they are too long for you!
8_ Finally, throw some color into your wardrobe and be slightly daring with intermixing colors.

As for tapered pants, they can make you seem fatter than you really are ladies! So avoid tapered pants, and wear pants that will make you lose that extra fat!

*No pictures this time but I promise as the tips come along later... you'll see it. Plus...a little bit for now so I keep you salivating for more!

In the coming weeks, I want to discuss: How to put together a correct layering of particular outfits. And it is my hope that I get y'all to wear the new upcoming seasons and not be a follower of trends but to be a trend-setter! Ill be giving you tips to live a healthy and vivacious lifestyle and shed off those pounds through pieces that will make you appear slimmer then you are! These are just some of things Ill be talking about this week and the weeks to come...

Fashion Tip of the Week .14

So this week is all about finding the right fitted clothes for yourself. Ive just noticed that there are too many people not wearing clothes that accentuate the curves in the right places. Also Ill be mentioning some of the new styles coming this fall.

FASHION TIP OF THE WEEK #14:

So there are somethings that you should look for when looking for the right fitted clothes.

Jackets/Shirts that pinch on the side are made to be fitted/tailored towards your body.

Also look forward for a more fall look is
tweed jackets. Also, find a pair of jeans that accentuate your ASS (in the right way of course) and you are set! Now I know you gals want to know the NOW look but also create your wardrobe to become unique by incorporating new styles. Remember its always best to start a trend then be a late bloomer!

Also...

i wanna mention that the new styles that are coming. Black is back in. (And i know how some of you love black clothing. So lucky you... Black tops (bottoms are only fine in dress pants) or dresses are in.Rockin the 60s look is also a big thing...So check that out.Designers are also going back to the "frontier" look. Fringed dresses, bow tie tops are being updated and mass worn.

Russian dressing as i like to call it is evident in jackets and tops this fall. Fur jackets, embroidered tops and military style heels/boots is definately a PARIS HILTON HOT!

So theres a peak into what you should expect. I know one of my entries sounded really close to that but I wanna reemphasize it and make sure u keep up with the latest fashion trend.

Fashion Tip of the Week .13

So Ive been thinking of what I could talk about in my next entry... so i figured out what I wanted to say after looking at some magazines with a friend.... This week I wanna delve into 1) Places to find good bargains and 2) Finding the right pair of jeans for you

FASHION TIP OF THE WEEK #13:

Now I know you can go to any magazine for finding the right pair of jeans but I feel that perhaps I should talk about certain things you should make sure to know... ALSO when i mean places to find good bargains, I really mean this... and let me be as explicit as i can be when i say this....

the clothing that i find for y'all on here are just EXAMPLES of what is in style... it is not my duty to go out and help you find the exact pair of pants from a different store for a cheaper price, thats what shopping trips are for. what you are supposed do is take that mental picture of the outfit/particular clothing piece and if you can find it for a cheaper price elsewhere (instead of the places i give) then go for it!

Once again, let me just emphasize that i am giving you an idea of what you should get... so if its from banana republic, and you go out and you find it at Forever 21 for a cheaper price but the same concept, then seriously, buy that one.

Alright, now for jeans....

I seem to notice that alot of girls wear jeans that arent really catered to their body or doesnt accentuate their curves (in the positive sense). YES this seemss a bit too critical but you know, i think that is why i am here, to help.

If you got large or small curves then girl sport it out. What i want to do is make those pair of jeans look great on you!

For girls who dont have much of a butt (dont take it the wrong way), then you wanna go with jeans that give your butt a boost. You need to go to places like American Eagle or Levi's. They have really good fits for women. You also wanna go with the straight leg with a low rise. This usually tends to scrounch up at the rear.

When you have a little bit more in the rear and is very curvacious, you are gonna wanna go with a bootcut that sits at the hips OR sits @ the waist line slightly above the hips. Dont ever go with low rise! Let me repeat that, DONT EVER GO WITH LOW RISE!

For girls with no curves what so ever, you should try the "superflow" or "slouch" pant from Levi's (which you could get from Sears/Kohls etc..) They tend to accentuate curves that are lacking. Stretch pants are usually better in this situation.

For more of the woman with a calves and a fuller figure, I would recommend a relaxed fit. It doesnt cling on to your leg and accentuate the negative. It hits at all the important places and you still look your best! Also look at my last fashion tip and consider cropped loose cuffed pants.

Next week, expect some new picked out outfits...

Check back next week for the next fashion tip! Always dress to look your best (Even if it's a pair of sweats and a tee)!

Fashion Tip of the Week .12

So I was driving around recently, and I notice something that look horrible on this one girl. Then suddenly all these ugly girls starting popping up and the first thought that came to mind. MY GOD, U NEED A MAKE OVER. Which means.... i got some of that motivation to write about something that annoyed me. So here goes.

FASHION TIP OF THE WEEK #12:
Some things I wanna cover today is: Cropped Pants, Wearing Dresses over pants, Gauchos, or cotton flared cropped pants and what is a PARIS HILTON HOT and what is a NICOLE RICHIE NOT!

Dress over pants. Im sorry girls but u really gotta have the appropriate length of dress and height to pull that feat off. The dress should not go past your MID-section of your butt. Second, it should snug at the top of the rear. And please please make sure you wear something that flatters your assets not over embelish it.

Gauchos- NO NO NO, horrible idea to wear out. Girls, dont even bother. Just believe me when I say there are more better things to wear. Nicole Richie NOT!

YOU SERIOUSLY NEED TO HAVE AN
ASS TO PULL THESE OFF. If you know you dont have one, dont try. Plus we can see your undies so dont even try. If you got a nice booty, then go for it honey, more power to ya!

Flowy cropped pants- This is a serious NICOLE RICHIE NOT!

Disclaimer: There is a difference between the flowy and the gauchos. For those who dont see it. But i grouped them together.

Cropped pants - As kim was complaining earlier in one of the entries. Not all cropped pants look good on people. Well some key things to consider when wearing cropped pants. BEST to have cropped pants that is cuffed at the bottom. Pinstripes make the short height taller and slimmer.

Ex:
Nicole Richie Not & Paris Hilton Hot Match this up with some open toed heals and you are set for a night out on the town!

Now that we go those fashion mistakes out of the way... here are some possible outfits that I thought you might like to wear... (*This time I picked out the pieces).

Outfit 1: Start with a short tiered
skirt; match it up with double layered tanks of two alternating colors (your choice, just not white); match it up with some big bangled earrings (for those with pierced ears) and throw on your fav pair of short heels or flip-flops and your are set!

Outfit 2: Start with a pair of
trousers (except find a grey one); pair it up with a textured tank; either a cropped cardigan OR this one OR many more. Your pick remember. Pair it up with heels or knee high boots.
So I hope you found this helpful and if not, o well, but remember...

Fashion Tip of the Week .11

So i guess im at that point where... how the hell am i going to out do myself each and every time. It has been suggested that i wear the clothing items... And that had any possibility, one would have to purchase the items...cuz hell if im going to buy it! lol So thats out of the question. No im not going to wear the things i pick out. So this week is not going to be focused on what is cute or what would go well with wah... cuz i did that already.

FASHION TIP OF THE WEEK #11: lately, it has shocked me to see the outrageous prices that they put for a pair of jeans or a simple tank top or a button up (that goes for both men and women). I mean who would spend sooo much at one time. So i say, SALES

The perfect time to go shopping is at the end of the season clearance...

For spring its Late May/Early June

For summer [even tho most retailers dont have a summer-line..usually leftovers from spring] its end of august/beg. september.

For Fall, [back to school] its end of november to early december

For Winter its Mid-March through early april.

Then you have those semi-annual clearance sales... those usually happen mid season. OR the mid-season sales which are kind of a rip off cuz you get crappy prices when you know if you wait several weeks. It will go on sale for a lower price. But if its limited...then you should get it then. NOTE, midseason sales mean the 2nd part of their seasonal line is coming out and they are trying to make way for new crap. So look out for that. Some retailers try to rip you off then. AND REMEMBER... buy things you are actually gonna wear and that you know i would approve of (lol...jk)...but really pick out things that are flattering on you.

Good luck to everyone... Shopping season is almost over. Time to bust out those midrifts and show those sculpted abs of yours! There is a reason why retailers make revealing clothing!

Fashion Tip of the Week .10

So Ive been thinking of how to top myself and once, i actually considered putting on clothes just so that i can claim the notion of topping my other entries. Then I thought, I should go outrageous and put out there styles that perhaps you could possibly consider. And then I thought how much y'all loved the whole outfit picking out shebang...and for some reason I felt like i lost some of that zing for fashion cuz all Ive been caring about is enough sleep. lol So in entry I think i could only top myself by presenting you with tons and tons of crap all at once! LOL so bare with me if it is a lil randomly place. (Im going on what pops into my head at the time)

FASHION TIP OF THE WEEK #10:

I found that as much as simplicity goes..simplicity also means unique. Now I know the things I bring to you are from High End designers... but like ive always said: "if you can find them for a cheaper price then go for it!"

Trends for upcoming year...

Accessories: Bangles are still in so but out those metal bangles. Then knitted scarves. Girls, keep those thin scarves cuz they are coming into style. Inside tip. Thin scarves are in for guys too so if u have a plain one...give it to your BF!

Shoes: If you dont have
mary janes (Source: Manolo Blahnik) then u gotta get urself a pair. Knee-high Boots (Source: Manolo Blahnik) with a pointed tip. HOT! Dress Sandals are perfect for the tall women!

Outfits: Zac Posen
1 2; Something i picked out myself.... Your choice top (AE) (plain is great for thin layering), Bottom (A&F), Flipflops (Hollister) (Metallic is still in) ~plus its only flipflops! Pair it up with those huge thin rimmed sunglasses. And you are set to impress!

Trends coming soon: Refer to this page-
Report

Now i think i did an outstanding non-dragged out entry. So... as I always say,

Check back next week for the next fashion tip! Always dress to look your best (Even if it's a pair of sweats and a tee)!

Print shirts... by this i mean any sewn on prints or "glitter/sparkle" (what are terrible words...i tried to choose other words).

Fashion Tip of the Week .8

So recently ive been super busy but yet it alarms me to see such oddities that girls try to pull off... this tip of the week will be short and sweet.

FASHION TIP OF THE WEEK #8:

Who ever said booty shorts were cute... is completely wrong. Leg warmers are not needed! Its officially summer, do us all a favor and burn those.

Classic tanks are a big! By classic tank is a v-cut tank.

Poofy skirt is in... Its cute and any color would be fine. Just go with me on this.

A more outing out with that special someone...
this is in and covers up those imperfectualites.

Basically, wear your jeans any jeans. Enjoy.

Fashion Tip of the Week .7 -Guys Edition

So this guy's edition is dedicated to Alex. Reason being, he is one of the skeptics in my life and doesnt appreciate the wonders of having a friend who is fashionably sensible. now to many that know alex, he is a complete man's man and gets all weirded out when anything that is not typical guy like is put on him. So to you alex. i hope that you can get rid of that fear and start to accept that Im a happily straight, metrosexual guy.

So now that I got that part out of the way... Lets get onto the fashion tips.

FASHION TIP OF THE WEEK #7: One of my biggest pet peeves that has recently ive been seeing alot is the layering of polos over polos. Mostly some guys like to do it because it bulks them up. but seriously... doode, its hot outside. One is just fine. So this edition is all about what you can get at a modest price (cuz i am a bargaining shopper).

So the standard things a guy needs in his wardrobe is: Pair of khakis, Faded Denim jeans, pair of khaki shorts, Courdoroy Jacket, A button up shirt, humor tee, muscle shirt, and a polo.

For the more, dressy look, ull like to dress up with a great pair of slacks (pinstripe elongates the legs with add an effect to make you look taller). Properly tailored and you can look your best. A great pair of dress shoes. Great for going out on a nite in the town.

But some simple tips will set you out to looking decent to impressing a girl or your girlfriend.

1) Matching accessories are vital to an outfit. Matching your belt with your shoes can set off anything unmatching colors on your pant and shirt.

2) Every guy should have a pair of chucks (converse). Very casual and perfect for those guy's who like the saggy look

3) Inter-changeable belt buckles are important to have. It can set off a shirt to make it looked tucked in when its really not.

4) Guys should always wear clothing that is tailored towards your body. Meaning dont wear big ass pants when you know your leg is puny as fuck.

5) Dont pop the collar if u cant really pull it off. Not all outfits are made for popped collars. Your neck should be quite moderate sized and you just gotta have that attitude to pull it off. Only few can do that. (No relation to myself of course! lol)

6) Destroyed jeans are nice but dont go past to the point where you walk and all we see is skin!

7) Its summer, bust out those shorts and sandals. Make sure each piece of clothing is not too complex and just simple thin layers will make an outfit great.

8) DONT wear the same outfit you wore just a couple of days before!

9) Wear clothing that you feel comfortable in. Thats mucho importante!

10) DONT WEAR ALL ONE BRAND! And what i mean by this... one that has logos all over urself that says "hollister" or "abercrombie and fitch". hey if you can conceal the tag or logo. then its okai but really. its quite a turn off to wear all just one brand. that is why we have variety. (this is purposely to make kim mad!)

So good luck. Check back next week for the next fashion tip! Got questions? Leave a comment!

Fashion Tip of the Week .7 -Girls Edition

Finally, I am back and I kno many of you have been waiting for me to post a new Fashion Tip... so this week Im going to do two versions... guy and girl... Ive been getting requests to do a guy version. and for this week only...Tips for guys too! Make you check that out too! Perhaps tips for your bf? Alright here goes...

FASHION TIP OF THE WEEK #7: So this week I wanna highlight some of the fall previews that I think will be perfect and also I wanna highlight some of the hottest summer trends and some dos and donts.

Paris Hilton Hot: Flowy skirts/dresses with nature's colors (light pink, beige, brown, tan, earth green, etc). CAUTION... u should always make sure that it isnt too much ruffles cuz then it could totally ruin the dress.
Off the shoulder sheer-or woven ponchos (with just a swimsuit top or cotton camisole or bra). Note: Although the picture i supplied you with isnt the best example of what i would like you to have. This could be paired with those skin tight jeans that you have been waiting to wear! Remember, if you dont got an ass low rise jeans a [size down] or [ones that cup your rear] can reduce that problem, it will give u just the boost that you need.

Nicole Richie Not: Layering polos...Girls girls, no. Its hot and it isnt cute. Whoever told the people from Abercrombie and Hollister that it was a cute thing must have been muy loco. Unless you wanna look sweaty and fat, i wouldnt recommend it.

Fall 2005 preview: Knee High Boots... Ladies these are gonna be hot! Faux furs are definately cute (but of course I dont advocate the killing of animals). Plus ladies, arent we all broke right now? LOL. And when I mean faux furs:
breast high furs to wear with those camisoles. As for colors to wear...navy blue, brown, red, jade green, and of course black.

Summer 2005: Okai girls, so this is what you have been waiting for.... What are some of the summer hottest??

Accessories: Like I said, clutches. Big Big Big! Patterns on purses. Just don't overdo it.

Shirts:
Tight shirts with a slit for cleavage. But you know your body, Be selective. Low cut shirts are another alternative. Rinestone tees are okay (although i wouldnt encourage it). This is a no no... The shape is horrible on a girl's body. This is a yes which is a v-neck halter. Or this camisole is definately cute.

Bottoms: Bermuda shorts are bad. NO. These
shorts are definately a must as long as your cheeks arent hanging out. This skirt is a must have for this season! This sun dress with plain sandals [white, black. whatever color you can get]. Cuffed/Cropped Jeans are perfect for every girl. (All of these can be found at American Eagle...so modest prices too!)

So good luck girls... and make sure you check out the guy's edition coming sometime this week! Remember... Check back next week for the next fashion tip! Got questions? Leave a comment!

Fashion Tip of the Week .6

This week, I wanted to put an entry that has meaning, has heart, has that oomph that would really make a difference and that is why I chose to do my entry this week on…… underwear. HAHA just kidding. Actually, I was walking around campus and the mall and looking at what people were lacking in their wardrobe. And this is my entry for what is vital in your closet. Im going to incorporate my Paris Hilton Hot! and Nicole Richie Not Game.

FASHION TIP OF THE WEEK #6: Okai so lets look at what is vital for your wardrobe. The standard… Polo, tanks
(as I quote from Sheila… You can’t have enough tanks), low rise jeans, and sandals.

But here are some things that not all girls have that would be perfect for the wardrobe….

PARIS HILTON HOT!

The shoes: A good pair of heels (pointed but not too pointed toes) (they are Manolo Blahniks!) – practically perfect for any outfit! Open-toed shoes with an angular-round-front shoe – good for the summer and other outfits!

Accessories: Thin bracelets (multi-metal –meaning gold and silver) –great for accessorizing those earthy-coloured outfits you have. Clutch –perfect for outings or just whenever. PLUS, it’s easier to carry around!

Pants: Pinstripes… H-O-T-T! Every girl needs a dressy pair of pinstripe pants. It can be used for casual purposes too ladies!

Tops:
Collarless Jacket–ultra hot! Lightweight and perfect for the summer and practically any season (Couldnt find the white version of this jacket but u get the idea!) Laced-Camisole–(w/o the embroidery) really good with any dress pant or denim jeans. Also girls, soft on the skin!

NICOLE RICHIE NOT!

Skorts! NO, don’t even think about it!

Wedges, uh, more like fashion dont! Better to keep the door open then anything!

Practically torn jeans- jeans that look like they are about to fall off of you are pointless to have. Believe me girls… It’s not nice to see pale white legs. Remember girls, by cutting or having destroyed jeans, it means the jeans are too tight for you and you gotta let it out. Frayed or slightly torn jeans are okay.

Unflattering tops…girls, you should know what is meant for your bodyPS. Most pictures are up... on items most people have no idea on. The other items....u know what they look like and I wont wear them!

Check back next week for the next fashion tip! Got questions? Leave a comment!

Fashion Tip of the Week .5

So this weeks post goes to casualites... Meaning, people who solely wear only casual clothes and never gets dressed up. Like last week's post, Ill be introducing to you a brand new thing id like to call... Paris Hilton Hot! and Nicole Richie Not!

FASHION TIP OF THE WEEK #5: Now girls, dont take this seriously/take it to heart if you think im referring to you... when I write this...just tips for y'all.

Paris Hilton HOT: pointed heels and round-front shoes...perfect for this season as well as the casual look. Gives you the added height as well as it makes you look great! Throw on that pair jeans with a straight leg opening. Color girls...color!

Nicole Richie NOT: If you have a pair of espadrilles then toss them out now!! NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!! OMG NO! These shoes are fashion dont! Even if you pair it up with it something cute. It is not acceptable.

Paris Hilton HOT: Mini Skirts... singled tier only! Not excessive fraying on the bottom. Girls we arent going for slutty. We are going for cute. This color will perfectly match the pink heels i picked out above!

Nicole Richie NOT: Lighter denimnever works! And ruffles are a little too much. I repeat...lighter denim..is U.G.L.Y. and inside tip... will make you look larger! And not in the areas where you most need it!

Paris Hilton HOT: White halter to offset the pink shoes... Pair that up with a pink belt and you are set!

Nicole Richie NOT: Loose tops like this. um yah....not with this outfit! Enough said...

Okai girls, i hope this week has helped you... umm as for general tips... stay away from unflattering tops... wear it past the waist. Tanks are in but you must watch out for those kinds of tops that make you look larger than you really are! Jeans are always an alternative solution but like i said make sure they are not completely washed out like the skirt above! Things to wear.... Big skirts and i reitterate the empahsis for color in your wardrobe preferrably bright colors. Gluck!

Check back next week for the next fashion tip! Got questions? Leave a comment!

Fashion Tip of the Week .4

So this post is dedicated to Tiffany.... cuz sometimes we all need some emergency tips. I would like to introduce something new to my posts...what i like to call... PARIS HILTON HOT AND NICOLE RICHIE NOT (check back for next week for this portion)!

FASHION TIP OF THE WEEK #4: So this weeks tip will integrate photo tips of what I think is perfect for this summer. (As per request...) But before we get started, I would like to mention that NEVER under any cicumstance, WEAR THE SAME BRAND NAME CLOTHING! Ahhh that is soooo bad. Mix it up. And girls, I know this is sucha no no for you all but wearing the shirt you wore last week is okay as long as you pair it up with a different colour pant or skirt. It is all about the casual chic ladies. (And babydolls arent gonna make a comeback so dont even think about getting one.)

So here we go:
From my friend Jeein and Sheila (tanks are their fav.):
Brown Tank pair it up with this Superlow Jeans with this awesomely pair of shoes Aldo Heels with this bag (but any white bag will do) THIS IS A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF CASUAL CHIC.

For the beachy casual girl (i.e. Lauren):
V-neck pair it up with Crew Neck (its all about the layers)... Cuffed Jeans (you're thinking... too much blue? Bright vibrant colours in the shirt offset the neutral denim). With these Thongs (the shoe), the ice blue is a perfect addition to the blue layers. With a white belt like this.... (but really, any white belt will do, I like how the brown matches with the brown crew neck. Perfect combo.

So look i did these two outfits (with plenty of research)... enjoy! One theme, white, its summer girls ENJOY the lightness of the outfits. Perfect for this summer! Dont forget to gloss those teeth of yours!

Fashion Tip of the Week .3

Hey all well its that time of the week and i kno all of you have been waiting for the next tip.... So what could it be??? Hmmmmm.....

FASHION TIP OF THE WEEK #3: GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS...whoever told u velour track suits were okay... you were sadly mistaken. This tip of the week is intended for those (girls and guys) who just get up and put on sweats. Sweats = major turn off!

For outfits if ur in a hurry... here's a tip (temp. 68 Degrees and up) wear shorts, skirt. Lightly crinkled shirts are still in my friends... NOT TOO CRINKLED THAT LOOKS UGLY... Lightly crinkled/wrinkled shirts. For those who are a denim maniac, Torn but not excessive frays will be fine. Like I said, no need for iron, so you are in and out and look très chic!

PS. I was also asked to put photos... but next time!

Fashion Tip of the Week .2

So hey... i kno i kno, alot of people have been waiting for this entry... And i felt maybe i should include men stuff this time. So i gave u a hint on what it could be...

WHITE...

FASHION TIP OF THE WEEK #2:
..GUYS AND GIRLS... BOHEMIAN IS BACK IN... yes it sure is! So bust out those praire like skirts and lightweight tops. So white. NO: DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT WEARING WHITE PANTS...THOSE ARE A NO NO.. IF U WANNA LOOK FAT THEN WEAR THEM... YES: White tops, white skirts, white prarie dresses. Guys, light weight bohemian shirts are fine. Pair that shirt up with some cargo shorts and you are set! CAUTION: If you are gonna wear skirts past your knees a fitted halter or a fitted sleeveless shirt will better show your more vivacious curves! White denim skirts are okai, but bust in some color in your top. Remember, bohemian is all about relaxed and casual. Dress down to dress up! That will show your fashionable self!

Ex: If you are going to wear a white skirt, pair that up with a sexy solid halter [Colors that are in.. LIGHT/PASTELS, as well as earthy colors]. Accessories to wear... yes, i said this, BIG earrings, authentic bracelets, and pair that up with some big sunglasses and you are set to impress. Good luck!

PS. OO and girls, a nice light tan would help your appearance, spray on tans works miracles!!

Fashion Tip of the Week .1

So i thought i should do this for the girls who always ask for my opinion on something... but now dont have me there to go shoppin wit. This post is intended to help out those who are in a quick fix or arent sure what to wear with wah.
So my first posting is dedicated to the lovely ladies of 951.

FASHION TIP OF THE WEEK #1:
...so i was thinking, what would be the best thing for you to do when you are in a hurry and u really have nothing to match with that outfit that you are stylin... what better way to accessorize!

Say if you wore some accessory the day before or what not... change it up a lil bit. if you are in a bind and u just dont wanna use that same belt and the other one is completely different from the color of the outfit... Go ahead and use that different color belt (neutral colors work best)...pair up some shoes/sandals that is the same color as the other accessories. Match that up with a cool pair of sunglasses and u are ready to impress!

EX: neon pink polo with denim but u have brown sunglasses... match a brown belt with brown sandals and ur good to go. White with white etc. you get the picture.
